Contact verification of generic and sponsored Top-Level-Domains

In the course of the ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement 2013 a contact verification will be performed for all with us already and future registered generic TLDs (eg. .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO) and sponsored TLDs (eg. .TEL, .MOBI, .ASIA). If a verification has already been carried out by our technology partners in exceptional cases, a further verification by us is necessary. he implementation of the verification of the individual TLDs is done gradually.

Thus, the domain owner receives a verification e-mail to the address indicated during domain registration for confirmation within 15 days. Failing to submit such confirmation within 10 days the domain administrator will be alerted with an information e-mail and a visible symbol in the domain list of the customer area.

If the e-mail address information cannot be validated after the expiration of the 15-day period the domain will be suspended. A suspended domain can be reactivated later with the link in the verification e-mail.

On September 01, 2014 between 07:00 to 07:30 CEST we will perform maintenance to launch the verification process. During this period the following services will be unavailable for some minutes:
