API Change Announcements
Friday, March 23, 2012
From April 4, 2012 we are going to return the datetime values with offset after the maintenance was finished. Also the format of the datetime data type will be changed.
On April 18, 2012 we are going to maintain our API which causes the following changes:
- the cc (CountryCode) parameter is only allowed in UPPER-CASE syntax
- only nested API methods like 'domain.create' are supported
- the session based authentication method is mandatory
Information: Your first API command has to be 'account.login' with your credentials. For all following API requests you need to send the received session id from the previous command in the request header. It is not allowed to send the credentials in other than the 'account.login' command.
If you already use the WHMCS module version 1.1 or higher, PHP-API version 2.2 or higher, AWBS module version 1.0.4 or higher or another API client, then you do not need to upgrade the API client. If you still use an old API client, then please download the current version under the menu item "Help -> API - Programming Interfaces".
All changes were already applied to our testing environment (ote.inwx.de) and can be tested there.
