.UK domains: No local contact needed

Due to the upcoming introduction of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Nominet has changed their policies for .uk domain names and abandonded the local contact requirement (service contact). The new policies are valid as of May 22, 2018. The trusteeservice is therefore no longer necessary for .Uk domain names.
Upon request we will remove the data of the trustee for you and replace it with the data of the owner of your domain name.

General Data Protection Ordinance & General Terms and Conditions
From May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force and provides for the uniform regulation of the handling and processing of personal data by companies throughout Europe.
Furthermore, as part of the General Data Protection Regulation, we are adapting our General Terms and Conditions, which will also come into effect on May 25, 2018.
