1. Scope
This accessibility information applies to the website www.inwx.de, including all associated content and features, as well as the customer area.
2. Description of the Service (in Accessible Format)
INWX provides the following services via inwx.de: domain services (e.g. domain search, registration, transfer, and management), account and customer area functions (e.g. registration, login, password reset, management of customer data and settings), and support and contact options (e.g. contact form and abuse form).
3. Legal Basis and Standard
This information is provided to fulfil the disclosure obligations under Annex 3 (to Sections 14 and 28) of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG – Accessibility Reinforcement Act). Recognised standards – in particular EN 301 549 and the underlying WCAG success criteria – are used as the benchmark for accessible design.
4. Current Accessibility Status and Ongoing Implementation
We are continuously working to make inwx.de and the customer area perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users. We regard accessibility as an ongoing improvement process: measures are prioritised, implemented, and subsequently optimised further.
At present, the offering is partially compliant with the applicable requirements. We are implementing improvements in a stepwise manner.
5. Measures Already Implemented (as of 07 May 2026)
- The contact form has been revised to be accessible.
- The abuse form has been revised to be accessible.
- The navigation has been revised to be accessible, with a focus on code/structural and operational aspects (e.g. keyboard operability, focus management, meaningful semantics/ARIA structure).
- ARIA labels for interactive elements have been added across the website and customer area to improve usability with assistive technologies.
6. Further Planned Improvements (no fixed timeline)
- Additional accessibility measures are continuously being prioritised and implemented incrementally.
- Visual adjustments (e.g. contrast and text size) are being planned separately and will be implemented as a dedicated work package.
7. Non-Accessible Content
The following content is not yet fully accessible for the reasons stated:
- Visual aspects such as contrast and text sizes will be reviewed and adjusted in a separate work package. Implementation will follow prioritisation within the technical roadmap.
- Additional areas of the website and customer area are continuously being reviewed for accessibility and progressively optimised.
The limitations listed are not exhaustive. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our entire offering.
