.NZ is the domain name of New Zealand. It is currently managed by InternetNZ, who are supervised by the Domain Name Commission Limited (DNCL).
It is a very popular domain in the country, with nearly 730,000 registered .nz domains, with a very steady growth since its creation in 1987.
The domains initially existed only at the third level (.co.nz, .ac.nz, org.nz, etc.) but since 2013 the process of releasing the second level began, i.e., any holder could register its domain directly under .nz.
